The Melbourne Centre for National Resilience was the Australian Government's first dedicated national quarantine facility, a new category of critical infrastructure with no precedent to draw from. The network had to serve government operations, healthcare delivery and residential quarantine functions all at once, each with distinct connectivity, security and reliability requirements.
